EUROPEAN CINEMA FESTIVAL

Lecce, from 31st March to 5th April 2009

The tenth edition of Festival del Cinema Europeo, recognised by the Minister of Culture and Fine Arts as an event of National Interest, will take place in Lecce from 31st March to 5th April 2009.

Conceived and organised by the Cultural Association “Art Promotion” it is carried out with the support of the European Parliament, of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, by Lecce Municipality , the Province of Lecce, Apulia Regional Administration, the Experimental Centre of Cinematography , the Apulia Film Commission, of S.N.C.C.I., of S.N.G.C.I., of FIPRESCI, of AIACE Nazionale, of the Agency for Euromediterranean Cultural Heritage, of Salento University, del Forum Austriaco di Cultura, dell’Ambasciata di Francia, of APT and Chamber of Commerce of Lecce Province, member of the Association Italian Cinema Festivals and the circuit CineNetFestival.

The Festival avails itself of the Committee of Guarantors (including Krzysztof Zanussi, Citto Maselli, Morando Morandini, Emidio Greco, Gianni Volpi, Gianni Massaro) who has the task to certify the quality and the cultural value of the event.
