SYNOPSIS
The CEO of a major hotel chain, owned by his wife and his brother-in-law, seems to have everything a man could desire: a beautiful house, a sound marriage and an excellent professional position. However, when he charges a waitress with theft, her son, persuaded that his mother has been wrongly accused, decides to avenge her and starts following him in order to discover his weaknesses and ruin his existence…
CRITICAL NOTE
“(…) His comic characters have gradually yielded to characters that have gained a greater depth: this is certainly also true of the protagonists of this last film, in which Verdone shares duties and honours with the young Muccino. The rhythm is flowing, the sequences run alternating comedy, which is never vulgar, with more reflective moments – perhaps only with excessive delay in the last part of the film – and the story, even though not original, works quite well.
