SYNOPSIS
Three stories, three honeymoons. A distinguished maniacal doctor marries the introverted Fosca, making her a victim of his obsessions. The boor Ivano and Jessica do nothing but drive around aimlessly, make love in the oddest way and talk only bullshit. Instead, Giovannino and Valeriana have to stand their relatives’ exhausting nosiness before going away on the long-awaited wedding cruise.
CRITICAL NOTE
“(…) Based on the observation of reality, in accordance with the great tradition of comedy of manners, the film manages successfully to keep alive and intertwine the three exemplary stories avoiding both banality and greater demands. Among a tight group of friends the comic inspiration and the kindness of the pseudo-hippy bride Gerini stand out; however it’s tripartite Verdone who takes the lion’s share, splitting fairly into his characters without exceeding or toning down, in short a perfect audience servant.” (Tullio Kezich, Il Corriere della Sera)
