SYNOPSIS
Caterina, a young nun on the point of making her perpetual declaration, is given by a passing man a newborn baby left in a park. Caterina brings him to the hospital but cannot forget him. From the a sweater he was wrapped into, Caterina goes back to the laundry of Ernesto, a lonely man, with frequent mood and pressure swings. He had left his sweater at Teresa’s, a girl who had worked at the shop. Caterina wants to find the baby’s mother; Ernesto would like to close the matter soon but the possibility to be the baby’s father arises new feelings in him.
